Krinklewood

Autumn Newsletter

To all our Krinklewood Members and Friends,

Our vines are telling us that autumn has arrived, and our children are telling us that Easter is just around the corner (!)…it’s a wonderful time of year to visit Krinklewood!

As great lovers of food and wine – in this newsletter we thought we’d suggest some food & wine matching for the Easter long weekend…

• Treat your guests to a fresh glass of Blanc de Blanc, served simply with some delicious Hunter Valley olives.
• The 09 Verdelho is perfect with antipasto, simple and lovely at any time of the day.
• The 08 Chardonnay is so fresh and bright. It will be perfect on Good Friday with pan seared salmon on a bed of garlic mash.
• Figs are in season! They're divine with aged cheddar and a tipple of our Lucia Dessert wine.
• We also recognise that Easter is a busy time with friends and family…and for this the Wild Red and Wild White are great all-rounders!

The Krinklewood Cellar Door is open 10am-5pm every day over the Easter long weekend. We look forward to seeing you!

NEW RELEASE:

2007 Spider Run. Made with Krinklewood’s 3 flagship whites, Semillon Verdelho and Chardonnay, Spider Run White is carefully co-fermented with wild yeast in aged French oak. A combination of our trademark biodynamic whites, this wine gives an all encompassing true reflection of Krinklewood terroir in one multi-variety wine. 2007 was indeed an exceptional vintage and we are very excited to announce the new release of this wine! Exclusively available to Wine Club Members.

The name? The floodlit night harvest at Krinklewood sees the mid-rows sparkling with endless intricate cobwebs – and for those brave enough, there is the dare of driving the 4 wheeler from one end to the other. We fondly refer to this as the ‘Spider Run’!  Order Wine
